The call for papers for the 24th conference on Cultural Heritage and New Technologies (CHNT 24), taking place on November 4-6, 2019 in Vienna, is open (submissions until July 10, 2019 – DEADLINE EXTENSION).
Multimedial & multimodal lautete das diesjährige Thema der Konferenz Digital Humanities im deutschsprachigen Raum (DHd), die vom 25. bis 29. März 2019 in Mainz und Frankfurt am Main stattfand.
Soon, both tourists and Dresden inhabitants are to dive into the past.
A small movement – and the time travel starts. All of a sudden the Dresden square Neumarkt changes its view. The church Frauenkirche’s light façade changes to dark and old. Looking left towards Johanneum, Jüdenhof, Dinglingerhaus – the colours fade away, everything turns to black and white, and different somehow.
The conference proceedings “Digital Research and Education in Architectural Heritage”, which contains selected contributions from the jointly held “Digital Encounters with Cultural Heritage” and “Urban History in the Age of Digital Libraries” conventions, has just been published by Springer.
